AmeCon has ended for another year and the committee would like to thank everyone who attended over the weekend.
Some of the BeeTaggs used for the BeeTagg Bundle competition were able to be scanned, but due to mobile signal issues at Keele, they couldn’t redirect your mobile phones to the pages in question - making things a bit hard for those who wanted to enter.

Hi everyone! Hope you had a belting time at AmeCon; it was certainly a ride and a half for us!
Just a quick note to let you know that the questions for the 2010 BeeTagg Bundle are now available for access. Some pretty cool stuff to be had as part of this here competition: we have some AmeCon-related gear, along with another box of Giant Pocky from CyberCandy and a copy of the two Death Note live-action movies on Blu-Ray, courtesy of 4Digital Media.

A first for AmeCon this year, we are delighted to announce two ShuttleBus services, exclusive and free to AmeCon attendees over the course of the AmeCon weekend, provided by Keele University Students Union (KUSU).
External Service
The external service is a 16 seater MiniBus running between Keele University and Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station during the day on Friday to collect attendees and their luggage and bring them directly to the AmeCon Registrations building. This service will also run vice versa on Monday to take attendees and their luggage back to Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station. Operating times: TBC.
Internal Service
There will also be a seperate MiniBus running internally on campus, transporting attendees between Registrations and on-site accomodation blocks on Friday and Monday. While the on-site accommodation is only a short walk away, attendees with heavy luggage and bulky cosplay items may wish to take advantage of the internal service after collecting their room keys during Registration. This service will repeat in reverse on Monday to collect attendees and their luggage from the accommodation blocks and drop them off outside the Registrations area, where attendees can connect to the external ShuttleBus (as above) back to Stoke-on-Trent Station.
KUSU have also offered to run a late-night MiniBus service, transporting attendees from the Student Union building to the accomodation blocks.
Please note that all ShuttleBus services operate on a first-come first-served basis and there may be a high demand during peak times.

Grab your Full Metal Alchemist DVDs, posters and plushies and jam them into your suitcase, we're proud to announce that Wendy Powell of FMA fame will be attending AmeCon as one of our honoured guests.
Wendy is the English voice actor for everyone's favourite Full Metal Alchemist Homunculus, the infamous Envy. Of course Envy isn't her only voice acting role, she's played Ilena in Claymore and Miss Merry Christmas in One Piece. Along with several other parts from a range of Anime series. Be sure to check the guests page and her fansite for more information.
Guidelines and sales form for the AmeCon 2010 Bring & Buy are now available on the AmeCon website.
The Bring & Buy allows you to bring your unwanted items and artwork and sell them to the public at a price you decide. Items can be brought in during Friday and early Saturday morning, with items and artwork available to purchase from Saturday until Sunday afternoon. Visiting early is recommended, as most of our sales occur Saturday morning and early afternoon.
Submission forms for the Cosplay Masquerade and Competition are now available via the the Cosplay Events Submission Forms page. Cosplayers can take part in the competition to take part in EuroCosplay 2010, however if you wish to take part then please make sure to fully complete both the competition and masquerade forms.

Sunday is Omake time, our very own variety show. Do you have a skit you've been preparing for a masquerade? Are you dying to show off your singing abilities somewhere more formal than a karaoke?
